Which Scottish scheme suits you?
Home Energy Scotland grant and loan
Open to any homeowner who lives in the home, no matter how much they earn. It pays up to 75% towards insulation costs, up to £7,500, plus as much as £7,500 towards a heat pump, and interest-free loans on top.
Warmer Homes Scotland
It's open to owners and private tenants getting a qualifying benefit, or whose home has someone aged 75 or over and heating that doesn't work. Warmworks carries out the work, and most people pay nothing.
Extra help for rural and island homes
Island and rural homes get an extra £1,500 for insulation and again for the heating grant, so grants can total up to £18,000.
Tenants and landlords in Scotland
A private tenant can get Warmer Homes Scotland if the landlord agrees. Home Energy Scotland's grant and loan can't be used by private landlords, but the Private Rented Sector Landlord Loan is open to them. Read the details at mygov.scot.
